[etni] filtering ETNI mail

We don't presently have the tools to filter ETNI mail so that you only
receive messages that concern you personally. This issue has been raised
before and one solution would be to open sub-lists: elementary school
teachers list, high school teachers list, native speaker classes list, etc.
There would then be a general list for messages concerning everyone and the
"specialized" lists. You can then decide whether you want to subscribe only
to a specialized list, or also to the general list.
In past discussions most people stated that they prefer just to have the one
list. That by having specialized lists, they may miss messages of relevance
to them, and the list may also lose its dynamics by becoming too dissected
into these specific areas. But you are all welcome to begin the discussion
again, and we will put up an ETNI poll concerning this matter - and then
come to a decision after receiving sufficient input.
