Subject: Anglit updates
I have just read Mrs. Steiners "updates" and letters to
school principals and got furious all over again.
English is the only subject in the Israeli school system
in which students are to study and submit papers on
material which is not to be tested on the Bagrut.
This creates yearly problems with students who
refuse to do anything which is not "in the Bagrut".
Why not bombard the ministry and Ms. Stiener with
letters so that she once and for all understand the
additional problems she and her stuff create for
English Teachers. I love teaching literature but hate
fighting over this with my some of my students
AND THEIR PARENTS.
