Subject: Books for Israel cont'd.
I've been talking with people today since I wrote earlier, and
would like to take this further.
In order to keep Books for Israel afloat, perhaps there are some
teachers out there who might be able to pick up and take over some
of the administrative work from Ilan. Maybe there are those among
us who have connections with Partnership 2000, Keren Rashi or any
other philanthropic organization that could possibly save the
project. Media connections? I know Judy Steiner is aware of
the plight of Books for Israel and cares deeply about the
project. However, I'm afraid, that the workings of the Ministry
will not provide her or us with the money which is needed now.
