Subject: ORAL EXAM DATE
Hello All,
Today I am writing to you all feeling VERY frustrated. I have 130
12th grades students who will complete their English Bagrut in the Winter.
This is the school's decsion. (to save money) I have been waiting to get
information as to the names of the teachers/schools that will test at our
school in order to set a date. I was informed today (Nov 21st) that only
in early Dec. will the testing dept, which sends out our KTAV MINUI
send out this information..
How can this be?? Is there anyone out there who is also completing the
bagrut and needs to set a date for the oral test?? I am very angry !!
How can I set a date for the test at such a late date... Already my window
of opportunity is small !!! The kids have many other exam dates
(both MOCK and bagrut , not to mention Hannuka in the middle) I also
have to take into consideration those teachers who will come to my school.
Is it fair to call them and 'demand' that they come when my kids are
possibly
available?? What if they aren't available..??
I am furious and intend writing to the TESTING dept. however I really
want to hear if there are other schools who need to test their pupils this
winter and are in the same prediciment and what they think..
If I only needed testers this spring then DEC. 10th is fine. But right now
I almost feel that my mission might be impossible. And then what??
Thanks guys for letting me vent.. I hope someone out there can shed some
light on what is going on.
