For any others interested in the information this marvelous ETNI
community contributed on the topic of Translation Studies:

Shoshana Ben-Yaakov points out that in order to teach translation you
need an appropriate license. Such a one-year course can be taken at Tel
Aviv University by Dr. Miryam Schlesinger (who is absolutely wonderful)
or by Miraim Sheps (who is also great). I couldn't find the page on the
site.

Judith Carmel suggests Bar Ilan's MA in translation. Dvora Ben-Meir
seconds that and adds that all the feedback she's heard about it has
been good. I myself have talked to the department and found out that it
is a two year program of 3 days a week.
I found the following info at http://www.biu.ac.il/HU/tr/hb-ma.htm

Ruthi Shenhar suggested Beit Berl. I found the following information at:
http://www.beitberl.ac.il/DataPages/DataPagesPreview.asp?ID=3D3833

Tziona Levi suggests to try ORT at 03-6301370. I couldn't find any
information on their site.

That's it for now.
Enjoy the last day of Chanukah,
Nehama
