Steve,
Don't let your school put more than one double lesson per class.
I agree with Adele. Weak learners lose out and if a kid misses two
days when there is English he misses all the lessons. The teachers
don't gain from it either. IT is a really bad idea all around. I hope
your school won't 'force you . I had a class this year with two
lessons on one day. First lesson and then fifth lesson !!
This was horrible too. It was like not having a second lesson.
English should be spread out to at least 3 days a week.
(unless it's more than 4 lessons then it should be at least 4 days.)
What would be interesting to know from other teachers is how
many hours each grade gets. My school which is from 9th - 12th
grade has 4 hours in 9th and 11th, 5 hours in 10th grade and
5 hours ONE Semester in 12th grade .
