I'd like to clarify for myself the ongoing discussion about gray ed. In our school, the N.S. classes are an integral part of the framework and not paid for by the parents. Alternatively, the very weak students, who do not fit into our regular groups, are studying separately and these lessons are paid for by the parents. In actuality, if I understand, this is the same as what has been described and will no longer be allowed. And for that matter, ALL gray ed., in other words, all the extra lessons held during school hours, that parents are asked to pay for, will be cancelled. However, this does not mean that the private extra-help classes/lessons, arranged by a school, in addition to regular classes, will also be cancelled. This is an extra which parents can opt for or not. (We have a framework for after-school help lessons, organized by the school and paid for by the parents.) Do I understand this correctly? Another, if my school is semi-private, is all the above still applicable? Lastly, does anyone know where this is clearly written and explained, which "chozer mankal"?
