Dear Fellow English Teachers,

I am looking into the option of switching unions (Histadrut to Irgun) and
want to look into the pros and cons. As far as I see it, since I have no
intention of signing the agreement (which ANYWAY hasn't been offered to me)
I don't see as how I have anything to lose. But do I lose out on the rights
I DO have (not that I am quite sure what those are) by switching unions?

I would appreciate it very much if any of you have looked into this and
actually done it (after weighing the pros and cons), could contact me. If
the conditions make sense, not only will _I_ switch unions, but I will try
to convince the other teachers in my school to do so. Out of 120 +- teachers
in my school, there are only _2_ who are in the Irgun. We would NOT be going
out on strike, at any rate (we are Otef Aza) but it sure would make a
statement!

I look forward to hearing from people with relevant experience.

All the best

Adele
