Hi all,
We sent a message to the list - a short while back - explaining ETNI policy
regarding commercial announcments
to the list.
We clearly stated, at that time - that while we encourage a general
announcement about your products, every now
and then (every now and then = not more than once every few months, at the
most) - we will not allow continual
and repetitive promotion of your products.
Despite our message to the list, a number of companies have tried to send
through two or more messages, one
after the other - promoting specific products, soon after they had already sent
through a general announcement
to the list.
Perhaps they were simply testing our patience.
In any case, we are here to tell you - "It ain't gonna happen."
Furthermore, there is not the time in the day (with our heavy ETNI workload) to
try and explain this point
again and again. So, any more repetitive messages of this type from commercial
sources will simply disappear
into thin air - sometimes known as "The ETNI triangle" - without further
explanation or response.
