[etni] log question

If I choose to do the log option in grade 10 with my students, but in grade 11
and 12 they have different teachers who do not wish to do a log, how are the
students tested in grade 12 - log or exam?
My understanding is that a log has to be done for either three years if begun
in grade 10, or at least for one year only in grade 12.
