Hi all,
In addition to my last message about including the location of your school /
institution in the subject line, when posting an ad in the "Looking for
Teachers" section of the "ETNI Advertisement Board" -

it has also been suggested that teachers posting ads in the "Looking for
Teaching Positions" section, indicate the area they live,or at least where
they are prepared to travel to. Only giving a mobile number makes it
difficult for schools/institutions to know if it is even worthwhile
suggesting a position to a teacher.
The clearer you make your ad (providing specific info in the subject line,
etc.), the better chance you have of someone responding to that ad.
I know that some of you have remarked that you prefer the old format for job
ads. The reason why I moved us over to this new format was that I couldn't
keep up with all of the teaching ads being sent in. In order to prevent
spam, etc., I had to manually add each ad to the job section. This not only
took a lot of time, but I was at least a week behind in getting job ads up.
With the new method, your ads go up immediately (if you register to the
board), and usually the same day (if you post the ad as a guest - requiring
that I approve the ad in order to prevent spam messages).
I know that the present format doesn't meet all of our needs, but it is the
best thing that I have found at the present time. However, I will always be
on the lookout for ways to improve these things, and your suggestions are
always welcome.
