Hi All,
It's that time of year again - school winding down, and not long to
go before the ETAI Summer Conference on July 3rd and 4th, at the Academy
High School on the Givat Ram campus of the Hebrew University. There will
be two full days of keynote speakers and many varied parallel sessions
about nearly every aspect of English teaching. In addition, many publishers
and venders have signed up for the book and materials exhibition.
The British Council is not only sponsoring a speaker from England,
Gavin Dudeny,as well as hosting a reception at which they will launch a new
ESL website for teens, but they are also sponsoring a pre-conference event
on July 2nd. This event is free for all those who sign up for both days of
the conference.
Until June 12th, ETAI members can pre-register and receive a 30 NIS
discount, by filling in the pre-registration form on the ETAI site -
http://www.etai.org.il/ , saving it and sending it as an attachment to the
office - etaioffice@xxxxxxxxx , or calling the office - 02-5001844
and giving the information by phone.
If you are not yet a member of ETAI, consider joining now, so that
you can pre-register for the conference at a considerable discount from the
registration fee at the door for non-members ( 260 NIS). Your
membership for the year also assures you free entrance to every
mini-conference as well as registration discounts at major ETAI events.
