I hope everyone has come home and had some time to eat and relax. some questions - comments: D - question 4. maybe i am too tired, but i can't seem to answer this. one answer is v (in row a) : How they benefited (both got money). second answer - ??? i - how they got the idea - fine for birdseye, but not really correct for morgan. he wanted to solve a problem - but HOW did he get the idea? was he driving along one day, got stuck in traffic and ...? i don't see it. ii - hard to produce - not relevant for either one. iii - what problems caused - NO (too bad it doesn't say "solved". ) iv - how long - not mentioned. vi - which countries - "all over / around the world" isn't a country. so i suppose the answer is supposed to be i, but does anyone else think this is problematic? E - question 2 What is "a vacation in space" an example of? i liked this one. good example of a HOT - generalizing (?? i'm sure there is a better word for it. again - i'm tired. generalization ?). very hard for the weaker (4 pt) kids. but i think that is all right. they should have a few hard questions in E. G DId anyone who knows anything about ADHD recognize Edward Hallowell? He is the author of "Driven to Distraction" (it's translated into hebrew, i can't remember the tiltle now. tired, remember?) and one of the first doctors who recognized that not only children but also adults can also have ADHD. It's a good thing i wasn't testing anyone in G, i would have gotten very distracted when i discovered Hallowell mentioned.
