Hi all,

When you respond to a message on ETNI, please pay attention to where
your response is headed. When someone sends a message directly to the
ETNI list address, their address appears in the reply field and your
response goes directly to them.  But when a message is indirectly
forwarded to the list through the etni list gmail address, your
automatic response goes back to the gmail list address.  I have spent
long hours redirecting such responses to the original sender, when it
is clear to me that this is your intention. But I just don't have the
time to do this anymore.

Take into account, that your replies may go nowhere if they are not
directed properly.

Also, and this is old news - if you are replying to something written
in the digest, and you include the whole digest in your response, your
response will go nowhere. Or will go somewhere, but will be swallowed
up by what is known as the big black hole of the Internet.

Let's try to work together on these things.
