Dear all,
How do you teach your students the difference between "making an
inference", and "drawing a conclusion". The dictionary translation of the
latter is "להסיק מסקנה" , but doesn't that also translate as 'drawing
a
conclusion'. Then there is "לשער", but that translates as "to hypothesise".
They are all rather similar, but if someone could give a clear overview of
the fine or not to fine difference re the translation, and any thoughts on
what the difference is in English, it would be greatly appreciated.
