Dana lavit -- There is a word-game that I used to play while on guard duty during miluim. It is similar to 20-questions ... but the number of questions is unlimited. It is played with 2 or more players. The one player who is "it" announces that he is thinking of a proper noun that begins with the letter [any letter]. The other player(s) take turns asking questions the answer to which begins with the same letter. The one who is "it" must answer those questions without using the word he is thinking of as an answer. Each time "it" cannot answer a question, he must announce the next letter in the word he is thinking of. The game is over when anyone guesses the word "it" was thinking of. The one who first correctly determines the word "it" was thinking of becomes "it" for the next round. Example: "It" says he is thinking of a word (a proper noun) that begins with a capital B. He is actually thinking of the star Betelgeuse<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betelgeuse> . Another player then asks "It" (for example) to name 4 composers of music whose names begin with B. The one who asks a question must actually know the answer and reveal the answer if "it" cannot answer correctly. One learns new nouns this way.
