Carl, it would be helpful if you could include the URL of the chat
room. Please do not assume that everyone has seen every message you
ever wrote and will remember each detail of each message. Thanks.
That's the cardinal rule of writing, especially writing for public
consumption. Never, ever, assume your reader knows what you're
talking about. Always, always, always include pertinent information
when sending out an announcement; the 5 W's are a good guide for this
sort of thing. Iffin you ain't included all five, your msg ain't
complete. You know what happens to people who assume.
