The app should announce upcoming intersections by default when walking, but I have noticed that sometimes it misses one, or there is a lag, and it will call it long after I passed it. At least at this time, you can't change the speed threshold for when it will stop calling upcoming intersections. Hopefully, this will change in a future update, as this is something that is needed, and has always been available in past and competitive products. I just purchased Seeing Eye GPS for my iPhone 4 S. I launched the program, configured the settings and took the app out for a test spin/walk. I did not set a route destination, I just started walking down the street. To my dismay, the app did not automatically announce upcoming intersections. I live in southern California in a major city so I know the area is well mapped. Later, I got into a car and attempted to set the announce intersection option to something greater than 15 miles per hour but was unable to change it. Am I missing something? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
