Hello all,
I used to be on this list when I had an mPower with v4.0 on it. Now,
though, I have not upgraded and have an apex, so I have not used gps
on the bn for quite some time. However, I still have my blue logger
receiver, and I now have a jailbroken iPod Touch 4th generation, so I
thought I would put the two together using the BTStack GPS app from
Cydia. It is working as expected, except that it has to disable the
default bluetooth stack in iOS to run, which I expected. I thought,
though, that it would emulate all functions of the default stack, but
it does not seem to do so; my apex stops working as a display/keyboard
as soon as I launch the app, and I cannot get the two to pair again
without re-enabling the default stack, which disconnects the gps. Is
there any way to get VO to work with a display while using an app like
this? This may be more related to the iPod than gps, but I figured if
anyone had tried something like this, someone on this list would have.
I have tried to email the developer of the BTStack about this, but I
am not sure if I used the right email address and I cannot find a
definite one to try.
Thanks in advance for any answers.
