Peggy,

We are pretty flexible about transferring a BN license from one unit to another. It happens frequently when people change units for one reason or another. The same would go for moving from an original BrailleNote to the mPower.

Mike, I'm wondering if the upgrade to GPS comes out before October when we can send in our old BrailleNotes and have the displays transplanted into the Mpower, and if we get the GPS upgrade, will we have to get a new GPS when we get the Mpower? Since the software is serialized for our BrailleNotes, I'm thinking we'd probably have to fork over some money to Sendero for serialized software for the Mpower, wouldn't we? Or if we upgraded to the upcoming GPS version while we still had our old BrailleNotes, would Sendero just recode the software for our Mpowers? I don't know if that makes sense, or if it's even been thought about yet. <grin>

For those who haven't heard, the BrailleNote mPower is a newer faster version of the BrailleNote. It is physically about the same size but has all the modern ports like USB, Bluetooth and so forth.

There are a few differences in how the software is compiled so you cannot just load either the PK or regular BrailleNote GPS on the mPower.

We have made the appropriate changes so the next version of GPS will work on the mPower along with lots of other improvements you will hear about shortly.
