Feel free to disagree however in this digital age the ordinal clock face positions are losing functionality. Apart from braille watches and clocks, and those are becoming rare, what possible other use would a person have for ordinal analog style clock knowledge? Blind people largely prefer talking time. There is no positional reference there.

I disagree. A clock face is a standard that anyone can, and should understand.Next you'll be saying people won't need to know their left from their right.
