Charles,

Wow! I guess it is true that you learn something new everyday. it is great
that it is possible to just rename the User.PDB to something like
Chicago.PDB and the system will still search in that new Chicago.PDB. I
guess this makes sense as all POIs, including the Commercial POIs have an
extension of ".PDB." I guess that this will take some time to get use to as
the behavior for 4.22 and earlier was to just scan for a "User.POI" file.

Sendero is working on such a utility, but really you don't need it, the
system can support multiple user pdb files in your maps folder, just rename
user.pdb to some other pdb file name and bingo you are in business.

Going out of town? Want all those pois in one file? No problem, start with
a fresh user.pdb file add all your pois then afterwards rename the user.pdb
file to Chicago.pdb. Then go on a trip to Toronto, add a bunch of new POIs
and rename user.pdb to Toronto.pdb. Now all your pois are in separate pdb
files.

Another tip, you can add something specific to a field say the "Tag's" field
so then you can quickly search on that field and find all POIs you created
during your trip to Toronto for easy editing. Or you don't even have to add
anything, just search in the city field for Chicago and presto all your user
POIs you created in Chicago will be found for easy editing.

Have fun!
Charles.
