Hi all. I figured I'd chime in. Awhile ago I had offered to transcribe thechats for the gps room. I bit off mthan I could chew and my schooling is taking quite a bit of engery from me. If I had more time I'd be willing to transcribe the tutorials into an electronic format useable by deaf blind users. I don't think I'd be able to start this week because I have a 5-page paper due on Wednesday, but perhaps next week I could start. I believe Leslie is correct. In listening to the tutorials I was able to gain so much more. I also used the manual, but found the tutorials useful. Take care!

Hope and Beignet

No! Manual and tutorial are completely different. I have very
difficult to
learn from the manual but I need tutorial which is step by step
where I can
learn.

There are so many free tutorial mpe, tutorial video, tutorial
audio, etc.
they are nothing to do with the deaf-blind users.

I will ask you, why so many on this list ask the questions but we
are not
able to understand the manual. Maybe they never read it. I know
it is too
complication and too many jump to other section. It is hard to
learn by
ourselves.

Hello there,
There has been lots of effert put in the version 5.0 manual to
include
examples in each topic. IE when a poi lookaround event happens
We give you
an example of what you should see. Also when an intersection
happens we now
play a sound to tell you that the event is an intersection. if
you are
unable to hear the sound the word Intersection is placed on the
braille
display so you know it's an intersection. example Main ST.
(intersection)

Hope this helps

Dear Seller:

Does the new version 5.0 include the file(s): tutorial.txt,
tutorial.doc, or tutorial.pdf for the deaf-blind users? If you
say, it
has .mp3 but it is NOT NOT good for the deaf-blind users. I know
you
vow us that we will have the text format of the tutorial.

If it does not have it, PLEASE DO IT INCLUDE HURRY! HURRY! NO
IGNORE
US, PLEASE. WE have been wait for it for the years. We do not
have any
good teacher for the deaf-blind users. The blind teachers are
not
really teachers but they are "sales persons. We need the true
teac her
or tutorial so bad.
