As was discussed here, tom tom gave extremely complicated walking
directions that no person would actually devise. google has much
better trip routing. also, Google Maps has walking paths in parks
along with bike and hiking paths. tom tom does not have this level of
detail.

Keep in mind that addresses are determined by either the postal service
or a city or county, so unless the app or program has a database of
actual addresses, the address it gives isn't much more than an educated
guess. For example, a large shopping mall may have a single address for
the whole complex.

Your observation on tom-tom versus Google does not equate with mine. I
found and find Google maps more accurate than tom-tom. Which I think
points to something that is often pointed out, results and maps vary
from place to place.

the most accurate address info, it would usually provide a particular
address such as 3522 main street. With google maps and open street maps,
the most it could provide was a range such as 3500 3599. I think google
maps is free where as the TomTom maps have to be licensed, is that why

I believe Blsquare licenses a secondary voice. I didn't think you
could change the background Apple voice, which we use in our app.
