The third position is to put it in logging mode. Either mode works fine just
don't change it once you have connected.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] External Receiver Question
successfully paired the receiver with the BrailleSense u2 and acquired a
position in my house. I notice that when using the slide switch, there are
three positions. In the uppermost position, the unit is off. Sliding the
swithc down to either remaining position emits a beep. What is the
difference between the two lower switch positions? Also, does SenseNav
remember the last receiver used making it unnecessary to go through the menu
with Backspace G to choose one's receiver? I understand that if I wish to
switch receivers, then the menu is required to choose one's receiver.
