FYI,
See and read below. Need to read all this as this might explain lots of things
with Nearby Explorer!

To get all U.S. OpenStreetMap maps installed:
1. Open the OpenStreetMap manager.
2. Expand North America.
3. Expand United States.
4. Hit the Select All button at the bottom of the screen.
5. Back out of the OpenStreetMap manager.

How do I get more then one map downloaded I tried selecting all u s and was
tole it will update when backing out of this screen. The only map I get is
Washington.
Also, my local transit company “community transit” which use gtfsrt is not in
the list of transit and it is the second biggest transit company in wa. How do
we get this implemented. You have Everett transit which is with in Snohomish
county, but not c t which coveres the entire county.
thanks

Eventually, it will be necessary to switch to Nearby Explorer Online. For now,
you can use either one, or both if you wish.

So if we keep using the full version and you make all of these new updates,
then we are out of luck.
I guess that means we should change to Nearby Explorer Online.
Do I have that correct?
I purchased the app when it was $99.00, and I definitely got my money’s worth.
I am glad you are keeping a good app going.

Clarifications:
1. The “new app” is already available. It is currently called Nearby Explorer
Online, and it is the app many on this list have been using for years. (It will
likely be renamed in the future.)
2. Nearby Explorer Online already supports transit feeds in exactly the same
way as the soon to be discontinued Nearby Explorer.
3. OSM maps for the whole world are already available in both versions of the
app. We will be expanding how we use these maps in the future to provide
information like approaching intersections.
4. Android users can already move their favorites over to the Online version.
It is a little tricky, but it is possible. We don’t currently have a plan to
move iOS favorites from the Full version to the Online version, but it it is an
interesting idea.

That is exactly what I get out of what I read. No more updates for the ap we
paid for. Two things needs to be done before making the new app available,
first make it so that we can transfer our favorites over to the new app, and
two put the transit feed in. Forcing users to use Move It when not all cities
are supported by Move It is ridiculous. Using the Transit Feed in the Nearby
Explorer app, I currently can get the transit feed just fine.

Hi Christopher:
It’s not ready yet—we’ll let you know when it is. It’ll be in the Apple app
store and the Google Play store, just like it is now.

Great to hear but what about those of us who just shelled out $80 and
purchaseed the full version? Is there some kind of credit? Kinda frustrating
because that’s a huge chunk of change for an app!!!

Thanks for your enthusiastic support for Nearby Explorer.
Following is some information about one way we are moving forward to make this
app better for everyone.
The NAVTEQ maps are no longer available for use, so we will soon discontinue
selling the full version of the app on both app stores. You will be able to
continue using the full version, but it will no longer be updated.
Nearby Explorer Online now includes world-wide maps from OpenStreetMap that
you can download onto your device, so you will not require a network connection
to use them.
We will, over the next few months, be adding routing capabilities and
intersection detection code into the online version as well, so it is feature
equivalent to the current full version.
Once these features are complete, we’ll rename the online version to plain
Nearby Explorer. At that time, you will no longer be able to update the
original app, but you may continue to use it indefinitely.
The new versions will be free to the end user.
