for today's feature I will be discussing the actions menus.

After you search for a POI and find it, in previous versions You would
need to set it as your destination with SPACE with D or READ with D.
Then press R then V or R then P to create a route to it. That
functionality has remained, but we have added three menus we call the
POI Actions Menu, Address Actions menu and the Lat/Lon Actions Menu.

You find your POI and press BACKSPACE with P or CONTROL with P. GPS
announces POI Actions menu, set or create: You have 6 choices.
1. Both Destination and virtual Position D This sets the POI as your
destination and virtual position.
2. Destination only D: you can set the POI as a destination
3. Explore position only E: This will set your virtual explore
position to the POI.
4. Pedestrian route P: This item will create a pedestrian route from
your current position to the POI
5. Show details S: This item will show you the POI details, same as
a SPACE with P or READ with P.
6. Vehicle route V: this item creates a vehicle route to from your
current position to the POI
If you will notice each item has a hot key displayed, You can press
that hot key in order to select the menu item. IE bring up the POI
Actions Menu then press E to set as your explore position.

We also have the address actions menu. This menu comes up when you do
an address lookup with space with S read with S. Fill out the same
information as before IE state, city, address number and street name
instead of define as" you will hear Address actions menu, set or
create: You are presented with 6 items. 5 are identical to the POI
actions menu. Instead of Show details S you will find Create user POI
C.

When setting a lat/lon position you will see the address actions menu,
it is called lat/lon actions menu in that case, but all items are the
same.

Hope you have enjoyed this glimpse into what's to come in Sendero GPS
