Some of this is a limitation of what Apple allows in the app store. Unless something has changed, Apple does not allow demo versions of apps, there can be light versions, but not demos of the full app.

I just downloaded the seeing eye app from the app store. I see that a 1 year subscription is $69.00 and three years is $129.00
I have no problem paying that sort of money if I like the app. There appears to be no demo mode. Is this my oversight, or is there truly no way to test the app before spending that kind of money? Can you get a refund if you spend the money, but decide you don’t like it within 15 or 30 days?
