I bought one of those for my wife, and she loves it. The display is very easy
to read, even for someone with low vision, and it is extremely portable, and
easy to move from car to car, or even to use on a bicycle, motorcycle, or as a
pedestrian.

Hi,
have you seen the garmin nuvi?
the following is a quote from amazon.com Product Description Product Description
The nÜvi is a portable GPS navigator, traveler's reference, and digital
entertainment system, all in one.
I'm sure you could find much better discriptions on the net though.
Hope this helps.
Chris
