You might could add this as a "Scenic" route calculation--where it avoids
freeways, and takes a straight approach--I know some car drivers prefer to
avoid the congested roads, too.  Essentially, you only add a few miles to
your original route--but it may take a few extra minutes to travel.

Mike,

Very cool. I'm working on a new mount for the PK that mounts very easily on
the top of the handlebars and the stem. It also will allow putting the mount
on the PK very easily with no tools.  As soon as I have it "perfected" and
tested I'll write up a description of how I did it so we can distribute it
to anyone interested.

I will love the new " bicycle" route calculation option. I've used the
pedestrian option and as you know it's not perfect when on a bicycle.
