[gps-talkusers] GPS sounds, question for a friend

Hi All,

As I've mentioned before, I normally have all my sounds turned off, meaning
such things as the arrival alert sound and the no GPS fix sound.  Although,
for a change I turned on all the sounds today, and it was kind of
interesting hearing the virtual position arrival alert sound, followed a few
seconds later by the destination arrival alert sound.  And, that second one
went off right when I was in front of my apartment building.  So, guess it
kind of shows me the difference in finding a position with and without
satellites.

Anyway, a friend of mine who kind of likes playing around with sounds and
all, was wondering if any of these sounds could be replaced by other sound
files that one might choose to use.  And, if so, how would one go about
doing this.

Now, I'm almost thinking that it was mentioned on the list before that this
couldn't be done.  However, I couldn't readily find anything for sure to
tell her when checking the list archives.  So, clarification would be 
appreciated.
