I suppose it could work a bit differently in different areas. However, in my
case, it has worked just fine every time I've attempted to use it on the city
bus where I live in Indianapolis Indiana. I've always gotten a signal within a
couple of minutes at most, and very often much sooner than that, and the system
has been accurate as well, ranging between say 11 and 18 feet. This system
works great for me when I either forget to transfer my CF card to the note
taker I'm using for the day, or when I'm just being lazy and want to use the
phone only to find out where I am when going to and from work. And, speaking of
forgetting to transfer cards from one note taker to the other, guess I'm going
to have to make some changes, what with the BrailleNote and Voice Sense that
I'm using now needing different versions of the maps.
