The UK and dog thing is opening up now so may not be a real problem in the middle term. Its still a pain for casual travel though - Liam -----Original Message----- From: gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michael May Sent: 01 May 2005 00:40 To: gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: Introduction and questions Shelley, In addition to what Matt said, I would add that the GPS comes with maps for one country and you can always add other countries later. Don't let the dog issues keep you from going anywhere other than the UK. Every other country in Europe will accept dogs, some take a bit more paperwork than others. I have been to many with my dogs in the past as well as with the GPS. You already have the expensive part of the equation, the BrailleNote. A new GPS is $1399.
