It changes the command depending on if you hit the space bar + a letter or if you just hit the letter by itself. For example H gives you the heading if you have been traveling long enough. I am trying to read the manual again but I understand why I stop because I
did not understand what different between with and without "spacebar" with a 
letter. What does it mean with SPACE WITH...?  What does it mean without
space, "a letter".

It is very easy confuse to me.
