I am so confused and just left a message for help. I have the PK and thought it was the storage card because there is actually no compact flash card at all. GPS 3.3 was on the storage so I put 3.5 there.
I also un-installed 3.3 so space is not a problem. I get to the install and I'm told
The process is being used by another process so hit enter to end this aplication.
So, what is running in the background that I can't find?
How many of you guys still have hair after doing this?

By jingo! That was what did it. The 3.5 is in but I'll do the maps tomorrow morning.
Thanks a million!

Mary Ellen,
The first item that comes to mind is to check the free disk space on the
flash disk of the PK. Often users have recorded memos to the flash disk and
there is not enough space to install the GPS programs. The space required
to install is about 2MB.

If you still have problems please give us a call.

Well, Probably I will have to uninstall the 3.3, I'll try that and see if it

works. Thanks.

Marry Ellen, I'm not an expert here but you could look at what other files

you can choose to remove that would free up space. If that doesn't work,
I think you could try uninstalling the previous version. There is an
uninstall program located at
http://www.senderogroup.com/download.htm

Good luck

department today:

Hi folks!
I have been trying all day long to upgrade the gps on the pk.
First of all when I got the gps file Uncle Norton decided that it was not

going to allow me to get into the file to unzip it.
Ok, So I had Sheila send me a pdf version of the file and now I have
gotten thepdf file onto the flash card which is a 1 gb which was
forematted to fat so there was nothing else on it and I put an exe
extensionon the end of the file name.
Ok here is where the problem comes in. Istart the installation by going
to the utilities manager and press the a for application program and it
asks whic hdrive I want to run the application from so I hit c for
compact flash card.
Ok Then I hit enter on the gps v 3.5 etc and I get the welcome and then
the command and after I get the enter hit I get the message there isn't
enough disk space to install the program.
What am I doing wrong? I know I am missing something here and yes, I have

done all 3 of the different resets to no avail so what am I doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much in advance.
