Hi:
I don't follow this list entirely well so if this has been discussed, I'm very
sorry for repeating.
I'm noticing that I'm hearing POI announcements for things over a mile away but
not necessarily hearing ones close to me. This is in a vehicle route. I don't
have this problem with blind square at all or with what is shown as nearby in
foursquare. it's only in the seeing Eye app. They're all using the same
foursquare info so that's why I'm mentioning those comparisons.
Any thoughts?
I'm also getting very inaccurate information from the seeing Eye app about the
distance to my location although the run tracks correctly and it tells me when
I've arrived. But even a couple blocks away it might say I'm 8 miles off. I
notice this is especially likely if I've had to close and reopen the app for
any reason. It's like it recalculates the route but not the rest of the
information correctly.
I don't have this problem in other GPS apps but it's hard to compare since
they're not all using the same map data of course.
