Thanks, Chris. I realize that not every business will be in the database, but the PEM is a pretty major institution! Oddly enough, many of the little Salem witch joints were listed! Nothing like pop culture, right?

   So should I submit?

Hi,
Just because the business exists does not mean it's going to be in the
database.

The version 6.x address searching is much more forgiving then any
address lookup previous to it. It was rewritten from the ground up.

Hi, all
I went today to the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. I know I don't have the latest version of Sendero or the latest maps, but the PEM has been there almost forever. It is not in the POI list. I searched with the whole name, part of the name and in just the category of entertainment/museum, and it's not there. Here's the web site so you all can see for yourselves that the place really does exist (and BTW, I could not find East India Square, either) As an aside, will there ever be a way to search for street names that is more forgiving than the present: that is, if it's in the map data as E. India Sq, and one types East India Square, would it ever be possible for the search to recognize that? But again, I tried whole name, partial name, and no dice.

So I created a user POI using the 161 Essex Street address given, because the lady at the museum said that in the sightling GPS, that is the address to put in.
So should I submit that POI to Sendero?
Also, the Colonial Theater is listed at a totally wrong address, and the theater has lso been there almost forever. Luckily, I knew where the theater was, having been there numerous times, so I ignored the gps directions. (This was way back on one of my first test drives of the gps.) I asked at the theater about a name change, whether "colonial" was spelled with a K or something, but, no, it's Colonial Theater, plain and simple.
Should I create a user POI there, too, and submit that?

On the way home, I encountered another one of these convaluted directions that involved numerous turns when all you are really doing is driving straight across an admittedly large intersection. I tried to create a replay (for the first time in my Sendero life!), but before I could figure out the answers to all the questions it was asking me, the light turned green, and it was too late. So, is it best to put these replays on the CF card, and should I perhaps create a folder called "replays?" Are there any more questions after that that I'm likely not to know the answers to? I hope to do this route again on Tuesday, so I will try again with your help!
Thanks.
Alice
