Hi Alex, We are not quite sure why it crashes on some phones and works on
others, this is why we wanted to test this on a wider scale.
The distances approximate as we are dealing with signal strengths and not
anything absolute, since there could be a wall between you and the other
person that will degrade the signal as well.

Hi all,
I just got this app last night, and I told my mother (who also has an
iPhone5) to get it as well so we could test it. On my device it works
properly, but on hers it crashes every time I open mine and it picks me up.
Any ideas why? Also, all it said was "near" when I was about fifteen feet
away - I was hoping it would get me a little closer than that. Am I just
doing it wrong? Thanks.
