Hi,
Keep checking the side of street you should be on with A when you have side of street tracking enabled. Side of street tracking is a powerful feature, but at times can be confusing even in locations one is extremely familiar with.

Hi all,

Just wanted to offer my thoughts on virtual exploration.
So far, I like virtual mode and side of street tracking. However, I have also
found it a bit confusing. I was virtually exploring around the streets near
home. I had the map in my head of where I go and when I do, I have gps on in
look around when I'm travelling in real time.
There is a point in the route where I cross a street and once crossed, turn
left and walk a few metres around a corner and cross another street.
Virtually I found this a bit tricky. I thought I'd cross virtually turn left,
and be at the next intersection but I found I was at a different intersection.
I think I got to where I needed to be by crossing and then turning left and
right.
I guess in summary, I haven't used virtual mode much up to this point and am
trying to use it more, have found it a bit confusing because a virtual map,
even with side of street tracking, can't mirror the real street layout exactly.
Just wondered how others go virtually and if you have any tips or tricks for
getting the most out of virtual mode and side of street tracking, especially
when intersections are only a few metres apart.
As always keep the great work Sendero, I'm very very impressed with sense Nav
and hardly ever leave the house without it, even if I'm being driven in a taxi
or with friends and family, I like to have gps active and see where I'm going
and what's around.
Hope everyone has an awesome day,
Andrew
