Hello Everyone,
Here is my wishlist for SeeingEye GPS. Some of these features maybe coming up
in version 1.1, but here is the list regardless. Each feature will have a star
beside it and two stars if it is a high priority feature for me.
** An exit button in the app to close the app so that unnecessary battery drain
is reduced.
** The ability to announce intersections above 15 MPH and to always announce
them.
* Self-voicing features that will say things like in 1.5 miles, turn right or
in 3 feet turn left. This would be handy for non-Voiceover users.
** An Emergency mode where your location is texted or emailed to someone of
your choosing every few seconds as you are moving or if you are standing still.
** when creating a route, the ability to select a contact's address from your
address book.
** Fix the bug with the subscription button not being visible on iPhone 4S.
* The ability to choose MapQuest or Google as your map engine.
** The ability to modify a POI.
** Favorites feature
** Expanded history list
** The ability to look up a route whilst sitting at home and email the route
details.
** Vibration patterns for different events in the app.
* Include GTFS Feeds
** Include Sendero User POI Content and allow users to update the Sendero
Database.
* Allow users to update the 4 Square POI data from Seeing Eye GPS.
* the ability to view or play media attached to a POI.
** Ability to email POI Details to someone.
