2. Similar to the above, it would seem to me that it would be very cool to integrate Sendero's points of interests in to the available points that a user has access to. Given that this is subscription based, I would also assume this is possible and wouldn't be all that difficult, though Charles may want to chase me with a hot poker for saying that. Speaking out of ignorance here, I would think that would be really cool, not only for the users but also would allow Sendero to extend its Points of Interest on to a more mainstream mobile platform, especially since Sendero Maps supports this it would allow a way to share points easily for users, or perhaps edit their points on their home computer and wirelessly sync them to their mobile device or share points with each other. Sharing routes in this way might be more complicated, but would also be handy, I would expect especially for maybe orientation mobility professionals and their students. I also know that Sendero has a lot of public points which could be integrated this way, would it be possible to download POI data on to the device much like how Sendero Maps does?

3. Background processing. I would say this should be a very high priority, though of course a user would be well advised to close the app when they were done with it to preserve battery. Unless perhaps a GPS on/off button could also be added to allow the app to release GPS when the user were done. The ability to lock the screen would be nice as it would certainly save on battery.

4. Blind Square uses a separate TTS engine to speak events as opposed to Voiceover. Perhaps this sort of feature could be integrated to work when the screen were locked. Of course, maybe licensing of said TTS Engine is an issue, so such a feature could be an in-app purchase?

Okay, so there's my top priority suggestions, now on to the less important ones: 5. Access to the map feature. Okay yes Ariadne already does this and said app could be used for this, but if said functionality like in Ariadne that would be kind of nifty.

6. The ability to listen to a book or audio while not worrying about automatic reading queues being interrupted. Maybe this one is impossible, but thought I'd toss it out there.

7. The ability to record voice memos along a route, kind of handier than hammering it out on a keyboard in the middle of a street.

8. The ability to still hear the sounds with the phone on vibrate mode would be cool, or some kind of toggle mode for this. Am I just being picky now?

9. Vibrating alerts for turns, intersections Etc. Yeah I stole that one from Mobile Geo.

And okay I need a ten.
10. The ability to enter points by raw Lat/long coordinates. Might be an easy way to pull data from Google's Geo Coder.

Lastly, my two cents on the whole demo thing. Maybe a monthly subscription could be offered for those who don't have the money to fork out for a whole year, or who just want to get in to the app for the first time. Just as one saves on the three year subscription as opposed to the one year, as the $69 divided by 12 is $5.75, maybe it could cost $6.99 a month, a bit of an incentive to pay all at once. Then again maybe there are good logical reasons why a monthly subscription service was not possible, just my thoughts.

Alright I'm done. My personal Sendero Christmas wishlist for Seeing Eye. For a version 1.0 though it's a really cool app! It is obvious that a lot of care and effort has been put in to this app. I'm glad to see that Sendero is pushing a more functional GPS solution to the iOS platform.
