Mike,

What do you mean by approaching streets. Seeing Eye tells you about the
street you are on and the intersecting street that you are approaching. Are
you talking about a list of intersections ahead of you?

At some point, we may put a couple of the less significant location screen
items in a sub list. However, they are at the bottom of the list so when you
shake the phone, just touch the screen to shut it up after the first key
things.

Mike

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Seeing Eye suggestion, announce upcoming streets

Hello,
I have a few suggestions for the Seeing Eye app. My main suggestion is that
we hear about approaching streets. This is the one thing that I liked about
nearby explorer when I played with it briefly on the android side. It would
tell me about approaching streets and update them in real time. I would
also like some more control over what I hear when I shake the phone. For
example, I really don't care about my altitude. I mainly want to hear about
the nearest intersection, the direction I'm facing, and maybe what street is
coming up. Obviously I don't want to create a clone of nearby explorer, I
just think some of it's features are useful as well. Thanks for considering
this,
