Hello Basioli,

The address the app tells you where you are is only a guestimate. We don't
have every house # along the block only a range from the start of the block
to the end of the block. So based on how far down the block we equally
divide up the addresses along the block. The problem is this is only an
estimate. Even on my street my house number is off by more than 20
addresses because my block address numbers jump by 4's not 2's like most
streets. Even TomTom and Garmin commercial GPS products doesn't get my
house # correct. Google is working on geocoding every house as a point of
interest, so once that is done, only then will you truly get absolute
address numbering when using GPS, but that means Google has it, what about
TomTom and NavTeq. who knows they are I am sure working on the same thing,
but this is a huge undertaking not to mention a massive amount of data that
must be collected. But then you got to remember your GPS accuracy
fluctuates as well, then you introduce map errors, and well you get the
picture. It will be a while before all GPS solutions have pinpoint
addresses for end users.

Thanks.

Reset the address and use current position and see if that fixes the issue.

Chris, I did my address search in order to set my house as a location. I

submitted that route log to Charles, hope he gets it fixed. Otherwise, I
really enjoy using the app.

How did you set your home, by using current position? If you did by an

address search, is it possible your street is on the edge of two cities?

Hello Members,
Mom and I are very impressed with the Seeing Eye gps. We took it on a

test trial as we came back from starbucks to home. The only concern is that
it told us that our home is on the left when it was on the right, what can
cause this misleadingness to happen? Cell coverage was great and aside from
the querk, I love the app and do not regret paying for it.
