July 2014 marks the anniversary of the Seeing Eye GPS app and we have an exciting new release to celebrate the occasion. By popular request, users now have the option of Google maps. Go to <http://senderogroup.com/news/segpsrelease.htm> http://senderogroup.com/news/segpsrelease.htm for more details. Sendero would like to expand accessible iPhone GPS features to other countries. We have inquiries so far from France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand and Israel. Since this app is a result of grass roots input and development, we encourage blind people to contact their local agencies and adaptive technology dealers to express an interest in bringing fully accessible mobile GPS to your country. It is through our collective efforts that new features can be added and maybe the price reduced.
