Hello Ian,

Do you have a firewall enabled? You will need to allow communication with our
servers. No personal information is sent to the Sendero servers.

To allow a program to communicate through Windows Firewall

1. Open Windows Firewall by clicking the Start button, and then selecting
Control Panel. In the search box, type firewall, and then select Windows
Firewall.

2. Select Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall.

3. Select Change settings. If you're prompted for an administrator
password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

4. Select the check box next to the program you want to allow, select the
network locations you want to allow communication on, and then click OK.

Kim

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Sendero Maps for the PC

Hi All,

I just got a new laptop with Windows 10. II;’m trying to install my copy of
Sendero Maps 2015. I installed it, but then JAWS says unable to connect to the
Sendero web site, even though I do have a wireless signal. According to
Sendero, their servers are up and running. I tried re-installing it, and I
still can’tcan’t connect to download maps and everything. Any other ideas?

Ian
