Chris, another point to consider.  When I tested this for you early this
morning, I did it from a saved route as opposed to live tracking.  I'll also
test later when I can track when outdoors.  Thanks.

Sometimes the D key will not tel you the side of street if the software
can't figure it out.  For example, if the map data does not have an
address range the software has nothing to compare to. 
I asked him if it was giving him the side of street info on the D key to
verify the software can figure it out before I looked into it further.
