I think that this will depend on the two states. For example, California and 
Texas are larger than Hawaii and North Carolina.

Shouldn't it be possible to place two states maps on a 
2 GB card?

The states - FL and TX

As it stands I'll have to erase my Florida maps if I 
want Texas.   I've got nothing else on the card.
