Hi Martin, That is not normal any more and I would suggest getting a new GPS Bluetooth receiver, I usually get a satellite connection within 10 seconds and that's from inside my house. Sendero sells the IBlue 737A+ and would suggest getting this latest GPS receiver which will dramatically help you in your startup times. Thanks. Charles M. I don't know, it may just be a subconscious thing, but when you're waiting to get connected, I always wonder if it's actually doing anything. Many times, I'll reset the Bluetooth connection, just to make sure it's working. Connection to satellites vary for me as well. Between a minute to 15. Sometimes, i just give up.
