Karen,

I thought that I answer both of your questions here.

As far as creating a User POI before getting on the train, this is possible
if you are able to pick up satellites at your current location. So, when
pressing G for the GPS Status, it will say something like, "WAAS, 9 feet. 11
satellites" or "No fix, acquiring satellites." If you receive a message
similar to the first one, then you will be able to Record a User POI, but if
you receive a message similar to the second one, then it isn't possible.
Generally, it is very hard or impossible to pick up satellites while
underground.

TO obtain the Collective User POIs which include ATM's, Talking ATM's,
Transit location, Exits and User submitted POIs, visit www.MySendero.com
There are instructions of how to download and submit POIs. There are over
11,000 User submitted POIs and that number is growing every month.

Thanks,

Kevin

Aha well, thank you. Could I create user poi before getting on the train? I
thought nothing would come in on underground because radio won't work. So
perhaps that is not possible with gps either. Karen
