Donald,
There are a number of companies who specialize in POI data. These are
separate from the companies who maintain the street map data. We have a new
license for much improved POI data and will be folding this into the
BrailleNote GPS product in the not too distant future. There will be ten
times the number of points and they will be more up to date. I don't know
when this will reach our customers but it is in the works.
